PHILOSOPHY

The goal of Kit's Cottage Daycare program is to provide quality childcare that fosters child's growth and development — socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually in an enriched and safe environment. The center responds to today's growing need of working parents, it is an excellent childcare facility that fosters peace of mind to working parents. We work to make each day a happy learning experience for your child by including age appropriate activities, opportunities of socialization, group play, free play, dress-up, arts & craft, music-dance, gross motor/fine motor activities and lots more :) We strongly believe that learning comes through free play and hands on exploration.

We believe that every child is unique. We do not believe in pushing any child to learn at an accelerated rate and we will not make any child feel pressured to achieve any developmental milestones. By providing age appropriate activities, nourishment, indoor/outdoor fun, safe environment and under the supervision of our qualified/experienced staff, children will learn at their own appropriate pace. It is very important to us that parents and our staff work together as a team to make sure that children are having a wonderful childhood and a great future ahead.

Kit's Cottage will provide a stimulating, caring environment with guidance that will encourage the child to explore and discover the world around him/her. With spontaneous play and learning materials the child will have the opportunity to extend and expand his/her skills and learn to trust themselves, others and experience positive feelings and self esteem growth. Kit's Cottage believes that every child is a unique individual who has their own style, personality and potential. The program themes and curriculum will focus on the child through understanding and nurturing the uniqueness of each child and help the child to grow physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
